We have been busy bees in P6/7!

4th Feb 2020

We have been studying alliteration, similes, onomatopoeia and metaphors in literacy and we have discovered that we are smart cookies! We have been as cool as a cucumber when completing our work and have completed some fantastic story-writing using all of the above!

We have created our own metaphors as well as playing 'match or no match' with some metaphors that Mrs Timoney made up.

In class, when we choose each other to particpate in something, we have to use alliteration or we have to describe our peer using a simile.  Next time you see us, ask us and we will think of alliteration for your name or we can describe you using a simile! EXAMPLE: Energetic Erin or Megan's hair is as long as a giraffe's neck.
