'The Smartest Giant In Town' Week

1st Feb 2021

P2/3 have been listening to the stories of Julia Donaldson recently and last week it was the turn of, 'The Smartest Giant In Town.'

Some of the related story tasks included making a giant George, measuring normal and giant steps, recording information and listening to the story to find and record certain information.

We also focused on shape work this week and as you can see the children are all coming on well with their 2d shapes knowledge.  It was great to see reading and keyword games too.  Also a big well done to everyone who attempted the, 'Animal Life' writing task - I was SO impressed with the results and enjoyed reading every single one of them! :)
