A GREAT BIG thank you to all who supported our Book Fair last week. The children had a wonderful time looking around the fair and selecting what to spend their money. As a result, our school earned money too which will be spent on new class books, school prizes and on new titles for our Accelerating Reading shelves.
It's been a great week for books actually as through our Extended Schools Proramme Mrs Hay was able to order a whole box load of labelled Accelerated Reading books. The classes all had a chance to visit the Assembly Hall where the new titles were left out for viewing. It was clear to all that the children enjoyed having a chance to check out the new titles and everyone was able to find a book, or two, which took their interest.
Hopefully these wonderful new books will encourage everyone to read even more!
