Well done to everyone who entered our Term One Literacy Competition.
This term's challenge was to copy out an autumn poem using the most perfect, beautiful example of handwriting possible and the children did not disappoint. In fact the entries really made the judging very difficult indeed! At last a decision was made as we looked in particular to see evidence of letters on lines, tall letters taller than small letters and small letters of consistent size.
The winners were notified on Friday and each recieved a fantatic stationary set.
Now we know that beautiful writing CAN be achieved I wonder how many can keep it up? Super work everyone!
