P3&4 World Book Day 2024

WOW! What a busy World Book Day we've had today! The boys and girls came to school in fantastic costumes to celebrate and share their love of reading through their favourite books. We even began the celebrations a day earlier taking part in an online art lesson with the Artist Sinead from The Art and Design Factory teaching us how to draw the Very Hungry Caterpillar yesterday. Have a look at the children's paintings they turned out FANTASTIC! 

In class today we shared a wonderful classic story book from Percy the Park keeper series by Nick Butterworth 'One Springy day' and it was a thoroughly enjoyable read. Primary 3 and 4 followed up by completing fun book reviews and comprehension mats afterwards. 

We took advantage of the lovely spring sunshine today and completed our reading out in the outdoor classroom this afternoon. Take a peek of all the wonderful learning and fun today!
