As part of our ‘Poetry’ topic, we have been looking at the different styles used to write poems. In particular, we studied ‘Rhyming Couplets.’ We worked with our ‘Study Buddy’ and tried to create four pairs of rhyming couplets and then our classmates had to try to guess what the mystery objects/people were, based on the couplets we read to them. We put a lot of thought and hard work into this task and to share that with you, we have created a video where each pair of Study Buddies share one of their couplets.
Time to put on your ‘Thinking cap’ and remember the rule we use in P5/6:
"Even if you don’t know, always a have a go!"
