Celebrating World Maths Day in Primary 2 & 3!

To celebrate World Maths Day 2026, Miss Sproule’s P2 and P3 pupils had a fantastic time exploring all things numbers! The children took part in exciting live Mathletics battles, competing with pupils from around the world to test their mental maths speed and accuracy.

They also enjoyed completing Skill Quests, working through fun challenges that helped them practise key numeracy skills in an engaging, game based way.

The classroom was filled with smiles, teamwork and plenty of determination as everyone worked hard to improve their counting, problem solving and number fluency. What a brilliant way to celebrate maths, learning, having fun and growing in confidence all at the same time!
