A Journey into Space

We had a wonderful week exploring space in P4/5! We listened to Tim Peak read a story from the International Space Station! It was amazing to watch him in zero gravity turning the pages!

We wrote list poems about what we would take with us into space.  We imagined what aliens we might meet and coloured them using pastels.  We wrote detailed character descriptions about our aliens using fantastic adjectives and added speech bubbles to our pictures with the words we thought the aliens might say to us. 

We made collage pictures of outer space using tinfoil and tissue paper. 

We also completed a wonderful space scene by doing collaborative colouring - we all coloured one section and put them altogether to make the fabulous scene.

It was a very creative week!
