P3 Taste Test

It's PANCAKE DAY and P3 have been investigating different types of toppings for tasty pancakes! 

We started by cutting our pancakes into quarters then added a different topping on to each part.  The toppings we tested today were lemon and sugar, butter, jam and Nutella.  When all toppings were used we had a tasty deciding time as we munched our way through the taste trial!  After a little discussion the children got a half pancake to cover with their favourite topping. Using the 'voting with your feet' method we discovered that the Nutella was our favourite topping followed by lemon and sugar, butter then the jam.

Follow up work included handwriting practise based on our test and graph work to collate and display our results.

We love days like this where practical learning leads the way.
