It's back to 1942 for Primaries Three and Four!

Despite the snow our Evacuee day went ahead on Friday 16th January 1942.  1942 i hear you say? Yes P3 and 4 experienced a day in the life of an evacuated child during World War two.  As well as dresing up the children had to carry their gas masks and boxes with them all day and took part in lots of themed Numeracy and Literacy.  We have really enjoyed our 'Britain at War' topic and have learned SO MUCH!  We even had little detectives who found out extra information at home and reported back in class.  The dress up day was the final part of our topic and a good opportunity to look back at all our work from rationing to clothing and airplanes to secret codes!
