During February and March Mr Potts’ class participated in a wonderful Lego Robotics project. Over four different sessions an engineer from Randox, Bosco Devine, visited the class and led this exciting project. The children were responsible for building their own robot from scratch, attaching sensors and programming it to do certain things or move it around a desired area.
Robotics was an exciting way to bring science, technology, engineering and mathematics to the classroom (STEM). By the end of the project the children were able to work brilliantly on the Lego software as well as control their robots with ease.
