Another first.......WELB WINNERS!
There was another first for school today! Having entered the Northern Ireland Science challenge in previous years, the last two years have proven very successful-on both occassions passing through the local and regional finals into the Northen Ireland finals as runners up, this year's group went one better!
Having passed through the local heats as a runner up, they went to Omagh today to compete inthe regional finals and, for the first ever time, won the entire competition!
The children had to complete a 'marble drop' challenge-including making the marble take as long as possible, lighting an electric light as the marble started the journey and catching it at the end.
Congratulations go to Kirsty, Kyle and Jack for their achievement-and for winning the school a new digital camera!
