P.6 had an enjoyable day sampling what life may have been like for a Celt! We dressed up..
. We were revisiting alliteration in our Literacy and went on to write Celtic poetry using alliteration to bring it to LIFE!! Have a look...
We then sampled some bread that the Celts would have eaten. Food was very important to the Celts! They enjoyed lots of eating and drinking.
Art was essential to the Celts and was to our class too!
The Celts were skilled at many different arts and crafts. Are we?
We really enjoyed our day. Thank you.
The children in school this week had a double delight-two assemblies, firstly, the CEF visited on Tuesday with Jonathan and Neil, and then today, the Extreme Team came back to see us.
Both groups entertained the children in their own style-whilst also delivering important moral messages!
